Kent Nutrition Group, Inc., a member of the KENT WORLDWIDE™ family of companies has a great opportunity to join their team as a Bagging Operator at the Marshall, MO plant! This is a full-time, first shift position with an approximate schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.\n\nThis position is designed and intended to be performed in Marshall, MO.\n\nPRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nDaily operation of equipment to process and manufacture feed products according to KNG’s Standard Operating Procedures\nOperate the bagger, sewing machine, and fork truck in a proficient and safe manner for optimum production\nFollow warehouse and loading protocols\nOperate the all feed manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently\nEnsure KNG’s quality assurance protocol is met regarding ingredient receiving, load-out, and bagging\nPerform necessary recording and documentation of all feed manufactured during shift\nMix and prepare livestock feeds efficiently and in a manner that assures accuracy and high quality\nAssist management with production scheduling, inventory planning & control for both ingredients and finished products\nAssist with equipment maintenance and repair as needed\nLoad and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner\nProvide excellent customer service and assist customers when needed\nObserve and enforce all company policies & procedures\nEffectively communicate with managers, co-workers, and customers\nPerform general work around the facility and other duties as assigned\nMaintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations\nIdentify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions\nOther duties as assigned by Plant Management\n\nEDUCATION:\n\nHigh School diploma or GED\n\nEXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:\n\n1 plus years of manufacturing experience\nKnowledge of OSHA safety requirements\nBasic computer knowledge\nGood communication, verbal, written, and math skills\nAbility to work as a team member\nThorough understanding of GMP’s\nKnowledge of HACCP Feed & Safety Plan\nKnowledge of FSMA\nAbility to lift a minimum of 55 lbs. from floor to working height as job requires\nPass pre-employment drug screen\nAbility to operate a forklift\nAbility to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
