Learn more at www.pavion.com\n\nPavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Operations Support Associate to join our security business unit.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nResponsible for installing, modifying, testing, and making minor repairs to computer hardware, software, and related systems to ensure reliable and secure operations.\nSupport calls by troubleshooting technical and process issues, tests and maintains system functionality—including CCTV and computer components—and installs software and applications that support efficient workflows.\nConsults with users to assess hardware and software needs, evaluates compatibility of new programs and equipment, and gathers data to support technical purchasing decisions.\nConfirming program objectives by testing and adjusting component settings against established standards, installing and testing products to verify proper performance, and documenting all hardware and software updates.\nPreparing user reference materials, training users through in‑person sessions and digital learning resources, and staying current on emerging technologies through ongoing professional development.\nBasic Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma\n2+ years of Service Desk/Help Desk experience\nAt least 2 years customer service experience\nSome knowledge in IT\nExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills\nThe ability to communicate technical information in an accessible manner to non-technical employees\nA process improvement mindset\nSoftware maintenance and testing capability\nVendor relations\nBasic knowledge of networking principles and operating systems\nAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment\nCustomer-service focus\nCollaborative mindset\nHands-on problem-solving ability\nLearns new maintenance skills quickly\nWorks with customers and has excellent customer service skills\nCollaborates with managers and service technicians has strong inter-personal skills\nDemonstrates time management, problem-solving, and organization skills\nStarting compensation rate: $25/hr\n\nDisclaimer: This job description should not be construed to imply that these requirements are the exclusive standards of the position.
