Also, identifies sales opportunities, documents clear strategies to capture design wins, and obtains customers’ approvals.\nWorkplace Policy\nHybrid from San Jose, CA\nWhat To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities)\nMaintains knowledge of customer applications and develops product promotion strategies that will maximize Company sales opportunities.\nEducates customers regarding company product offerings/capabilities to maximize customer awareness and company opportunities.\nAchieves design-in/print position by executing promotional strategies with assigned customers. Obtains customers’ approvals on bill-of-materials (BOMs) and approved vendor lists (AVLs).\nDocuments and communicates sales opportunities and necessary actions within the organization to execute strategies utilizing company tools/resources like Salesforce.com.\nEstablishes, maintains, and/or strengthens relationships with customer design engineering staff. Initiates technical proposals to customer design engineering groups and individuals.\nProvides each assigned account with sales materials, samples, sample kits, technology roadmaps, and promotional programs.\nAwareness of, and rapid response to, customer problems making appropriate recommendations, and coordination of required company resources.\nPrepares and presents customer technology roadmaps and related technical materials.\nDirects and supports the customer approval/qualification requirements (e.g., PPAP, SCR).\nMiscellaneous Job Responsibilities\nAssists manager in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.\nSupports initial response to, and resolution of, customer quality issues/returns.\nHelps direct sales reps regarding company strategies, utilization of sales tools, and overall sales growth objectives.\nWhat Is Required (Qualifications)\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering with Knowledge of the electronics industry and products.\n2+ years of passive or active component sales experience.\n2+ years of tactical/strategic experience selling a diverse product lineup (components, modules, power supplies).\nStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate proficiency in communication and effective collaboration.\nFacilitation skills to work with and among individuals from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.com or similar CRM.\nStrong problem-solving skills, business acumen, adaptability, and ability to consistently handle ever-changing conditions.\nHow To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Material Science.\nPrevious manufacturing technical sales experience.\nMarketing & market planning knowledge.\nKnowledge of target market industries.\nPrevious experience using Microsoft SharePoint.\nOther\nLocal and domestic travel.\nInfrequent international travel\n\nMinimum Salary: $79,202\nMaximum Salary: $131,277\nWe consider various factors in determining actual pay including your skills, qualifications, and experience.
