This role is responsible for taking environments from initial assessment through full operational readiness, while building the systems, standards, and processes required to scale. The ideal candidate operates with a high degree of autonomy, makes sound technical decisions in dynamic environments, and drives outcomes end-to-end.Responsibilities:Deployment Strategy & Site OwnershipOwning end-to-end network deployment for new and expanding locations, from initial site assessment through full operational readinessLeading comprehensive site surveys, evaluating ISP capabilities, network architecture, physical security, and regulatory considerationsDefining deployment standards, playbooks, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability across all locationsServing as the primary technical authority for on-site infrastructure decisions and trade-offsCross-Functional Leadership & Requirements DefinitionPartnering with engineering, operations, security, and business stakeholders to define and prioritize infrastructure requirementsTranslating business needs into scalable, secure, and resilient network designsDriving alignment across teams and ensuring deployments meet both technical and operational objectivesEvent Infrastructure & ExecutionLeading planning and execution of IT infrastructure for company events, ensuring seamless network connectivity and AV performanceActing as the on-site escalation point for complex technical issues, rapidly diagnosing and resolving problems under pressureEstablishing repeatable processes for event readiness and supportNetwork Operations & Continuous ImprovementDriving improvements in network reliability, performance, and security across deployed environmentsEstablishing monitoring, documentation, and operational standards for deployed infrastructureIdentifying gaps and proactively implementing solutions to improve scalability and efficiencyMinimum Requirements:Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)5+ years of experience in network operations, infrastructure deployment, or related rolesDemonstrated experience owning and executing network deployments across multiple sites or environmentsStrong understanding of networking fundamentals (routing, switching, firewalls, ISP connectivity, VPNs, etc.)Proven ability to operate independently, make technical decisions, and lead initiatives in the fieldPreferred Skills & Qualifications:Ability to act as a technical leader and escalation point for complex issuesStrong problem-solving skills with a bias toward action and ownershipExcellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to diverse stakeholdersExperience working in high-growth, fast-paced environments where ambiguity is commonProactive mindset with a focus on building scalable systems and processes, not just executing tasksU.S. EXPORT CONTROL COMPLIANCE STATUSThe person hired will have access to information and items subject to U.S. export controls, and therefore, must either be a “U.S. person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.120.62 or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing.
