Interim Outpatient Nurse Manager (Oncology) - Moab, UTScheduleMonday – Friday, with some on-call responsibilities required, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.Job DescriptionWe are actively seeking an Interim Outpatient Nurse Manager (OPNS) specializing in oncology. This role combines management responsibilities with direct patient care oversight. The right candidate will be passionate about patient care and comfortable with administrative duties as part of the nursing leadership team.ResponsibilitiesManage OPNS staff and oversee the overall management of the oncology program.Develop and maintain policies and procedures for the department.Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to outpatient infusion and nursing treatments.Promote treatments in the outpatient setting and build relationships with internal and external providers.Develop programs for outpatient nursing services, including Oncology, Infusion, and Wound Care.Stay current with best practices in Oncology, Infusion, and Wound Care nursing and provide staff training.Manage prior authorization, coding, and billing procedures for the department.Educate patients and families regarding their care plans and post-discharge programs.Coordinate orientation and onboarding for new hires within the department.Maintain financial oversight of the OPNS department, including budget planning.Flexibility to accept other responsibilities as assigned.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMinimum of 2 years of experience in Oncology Nursing required.Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification required.Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Utah.Current BLS and ACLS certifications.Prior supervisory experience and leadership roles in a medical setting preferred.Certified Wound Care Nurse and Infusion certification preferred.Why ARMStaffing?Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and moreOnboarding Made Easy: We handle physicals, titers, and more so you can focus on careClinical Support: In-house clinical team available to assist and advocate401k Retirement Plan: Eligible after waiting period; 4% match with 5% contributionRecruiter Matching: Get paired with a recruiter based on your location and specialtyExtras: Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, referral bonuses, and moreWe're not the only ones who think ARMStaffing should be your first choice.
