Reports To:Compensation DirectorDuty Days:238 DaysWage/Hour Status:Non-ExemptPay Grade:AS07Date Updated: 05/2026Qualifications:College hours, high school diploma or GEDPayroll, compensation, or position control experience requiredAdvanced proficiency in Excel and Google WorkspaceStrong analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage deadlines, interruptions, and large volumes of data with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailMunis and PEIMS experience preferredPrimary Purpose:Serve as the functional lead of the Position Control & Staffing Team and a key liaison between HR, Budget, Payroll, Technology, and PEIMS. Coordinate district-wide position control and staffing operations, ensuring accurate staffing plans, personnel processing, and data integrity across campuses and departments.Major Duties and Responsibilities:Audit, prepare, issue administrative contracts and Letters of Reasonable Assurance (LORA). Supervise reconciliation of campus employee contracts.Manage, create and reclassify district-wide administrative and departmental, campus as needed, position control, FTE balances, and staffing plans.Lead and coordinate the Position Control & Staffing Team, providing oversight, guidance, and continuity of operations.Create, and maintain, job classes, calendars, skill codes, allocation codes (Munis) and staffing documents.Generate and maintain reports and data files using Excel and Google tools.Support and collaborate on PEIMS/TSDS HR reporting and file clean-up.Serve as liaison between HR and district-wide departments when needed.Train and support Staffing/Data Analysts and assist with onboarding new HR staff.Collaborate with campuses and departments to support staffing, reporting, and operational needs.Process and prioritize new hires, transfers, and changes of assignment (COA); perform calculations for personnel actions.Other duties as assigned.Equipment Used:Personal computer, calculator, printer, copier.Working Conditions:Maintain emotional control under stress.
