Cargomatic is changing that by bringing transparency, automation, and efficiency to how freight moves.\nAtlas Marine, a subsidiary of Cargomatic, supports port and drayage operations by connecting drivers, equipment, and freight across major port markets.\nAbout the Role\nAtlas Marine is seeking an experienced Network Optimization Planner with strong port and drayage operations experience to support high-volume planning and capacity management within our Savannah market.\nThis role is responsible for aligning freight demand, driver availability, and equipment resources to maintain an efficient and balanced market capacity plan. You will work closely with Terminal Managers, Capacity teams, and service providers to ensure the network operates efficiently while supporting new business growth.\nResponsibilities\nBalance freight demand and driver capacity across the market planning horizon\nWork with Capacity and Terminal Managers to maintain a balanced Market Capacity Plan\nCoordinate onboarding of new business with Terminal Managers, planning driver and chassis needs based on customer requirements\nUse automation tools to tender work to service providers in bundles of productive workdays\nLead daily Market Planning calls reviewing demand forecasts, driver capacity, and operational risks\nMaintain accurate system records including driver preferences, availability, start times, and work schedules\nEnsure operational systems are updated with accurate information related to drivers, chassis, containers, and scheduling to maintain cost control and operational efficiency\nBuild strong relationships with owner-operators, carriers, and service providers\nProactively identify and resolve shipment issues, delays, or operational constraints\nProvide strong customer service to internal teams, drivers, and external partners\nUtilize Cargomatic's proprietary systems to manage daily operational planning and load management\nSupport operational and administrative tasks as needed\nQualifications\nMinimum 5 years of experience in port or drayage dispatch operations\nStrong understanding of drayage operations, container flow, and dispatch planning\nAbility to manage high-volume operations in a fast-paced environment\nStrong analytical and operational decision-making skills\nExcellent communication and problem-solving abilities\nAbility to prioritize multiple operational tasks and deadlines\nExperience working with transportation management systems or logistics software preferred\nBilingual Spanish/English is a plus\nCompensation and Benefits\nSalary range: $75,000 – $85,000 annually\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\n401(k) with company match\nPaid time off and company holidays\nOpportunity to grow within a fast-growing logistics technology company\nActual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, training, and other relevant factors.
