This role requires technical expertise in mold installation, troubleshooting, and machine maintenance, as well as a strong understanding of safety protocols and quality standards.\nKey Responsibilities:\nMold Installation:\nSafely hang and install injection molds in molding machines.\nAlign, secure, and adjust molds according to setup sheets and production specifications.\nPerform mold changes efficiently to minimize downtime and meet production schedules.\nMachine Setup and Operation:\nSet up injection molding machines, including the installation of molds, material loading, and machine calibration.\nAdjust machine settings to ensure optimal operation and product quality.\nMonitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain production efficiency.\nTroubleshooting and Maintenance:\nIdentify and troubleshoot issues with molds, machines, and auxiliary equipment.\nPerform routine maintenance on molds and machines to ensure they are in proper working condition.\nWork closely with maintenance personnel to schedule and perform preventive maintenance.\nQuality Control:\nInspect and measure first-run products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.\nMake necessary adjustments to the process or machine to correct any deviations.\nDocument and report any quality issues or defects to the appropriate personnel.\nSafety and Compliance:\nAdhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.\nEnsure that all molds and equipment are handled and stored properly to prevent damage.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area.\nContinuous Improvement:\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and reduce waste.\nProvide feedback and suggestions for process improvements.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED required;
