FMC is searching for talented, self-motivated professionals to work in a free-thinking culture creating the next gen premium entry EVs with the highest autonomous technologies at our Santa Clara, CA facility.\n\nJob Description\n\nMember of Test & validation team in Powertrain department in Santa Clara, US.\nSr. Test & Validation Engineer for Torque Path functions, as key member of T&V team, will lead the testing and documentation of related powertrain functionalities ensuring accuracy, quality and function integrity.\nResponsible for system integration, test & validation of powertrain functions at electric vehicles focused on torque path functions incl. driving mode, regenerative braking, gear shifting, one pedal driving, torque response, torque safety, driver information and failsafe modes as well as the interface with advance driver assistance systems for level 3 and 4. Support for testing of related diagnostic functionalities.\n\nDefinition of test plan according to function integration plan and vehicle milestones. Test strategy alignment & coordination with Powertrain colleagues in Nanjing, China.\nGeneration of test cases, test execution and test reports according to functional requirements, safety goals and functional safety requirements.\nResponsible for function release test and documentation at system and vehicle level (road release).
