Commercial Insurance CSR

Nixon & Lindstrom Insurance is seeking an experienced and client-focused Commercial Lines CSR to service and manage a book of commercial business. This role also supports our sales team by assisting in marketing and binding new accounts.Key Responsibilities:Provide responsive service to clients, producers, and carriers via phone and emailAccurately maintain client data and documentation in the agency management systemProcess policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations in accordance with agency proceduresPrepare essential client documents including certificates of insurance, auto ID cards, and evidence of coverageInput transactions into the agency management system to generate client invoicesEnsure policies, endorsements, and related documents are delivered to clients in a timely mannerMarket new and renewal business by preparing complete submissions for the marketing departmentAssist with audits, open claims monitoring, bonding, and bindingPerform additional duties as assigned by managementSkills & Qualifications:Strong problem-solving skills related to commercial insurance coverageAbility to follow established agency proceduresExcellent organizational and time management skillsHigh attention to detail and sound decision-making abilityExceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsExperience Requirements:Minimum 2 years of commercial lines insurance experience, preferably in an agency environmentStrong working knowledge of commercial insurance coveragesMissouri Property & Casualty license preferred (or ability to obtain)Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)Benefits:Company-provided: Medical insurance, basic life insurance, 401(k) with company contributionsOptional coverage: Dental, vision, voluntary life, accident, critical illness, short-term disability, and long-term disabilityAll benefits are subject to waiting periods and applicable policy terms.Schedule:Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.No evening or weekend hoursAt Nixon & Lindstrom, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service with professionalism, integrity, and a strong commitment to client relationships.
