JCT Solutions is looking for an experienced Senior / Lead Audio-Visual Field Installation Technician to lead installations, mentor technicians, and help deliver high-quality integrated technology solutions throughout New Jersey.If you thrive in the field, enjoy solving technical challenges, and take pride in building clean, professional installations, we want to hear from you.What You'll DoLead and supervise A/V installation projects on-siteMentor and train junior technicians in the fieldInstall and integrate displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, conferencing systems, and control systemsBuild and wire professional-grade equipment racksInstall and terminate CAT5/6, fiber, coax, speaker wire, and audio cablingSupport advanced systems including QSC, Crestron, Extron, Biamp, AV-over-IP, and direct-view LED video wallsRead and interpret schematics, one-lines, and technical drawingsTroubleshoot complex A/V and networking issuesCoordinate with project managers, clients, and other tradesAssist with commissioning, testing, documentation, and client trainingWhat We're Looking For5+ years of A/V installation and integration experiencePrevious experience leading crews or mentoring techniciansStrong knowledge of audio, video, control systems, and signal flowExperience with platforms like QSC, Crestron, Extron, and BiampUnderstanding of networking concepts including IP addressing, VLANs, and PoEExperience with cable termination, rack fabrication, and jobsite coordinationAbility to read technical drawings and schematicsStrong troubleshooting and communication skillsValid driver's license and reliable transportationMust provide and maintain basic personal hand toolsPreferred ExperienceManufacturer certifications (Q-SYS, Crestron, Extron, Biamp, etc.)AV-over-IP systemsZoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams RoomsLarge venue environments including theaters, stadiums, and courtroomsOSHA or other safety certificationsWhy Join JCT Solutions?JCT Solutions is recognized for delivering advanced communications and integrated A/V solutions across a wide range of industries and environments.
