Special Instructional Assistant-Level I (MTES)

Instructional AssistantQualifications:Previous experience as an instructional assistant in a public school system or experience working with groups of children preferred.Basic reading, writing, and computation skills; good written and oral communication skills; basic computer skills preferred.Applicants must meet the requirements for a Title I paraprofessional, including:Must have a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent andMust have met one of the following options:Completed two years of study (48 credit hours) at an institution of higher education; orHold an associate's (or higher) degree; orHave passed the Parapro Assessment through ETS.Proof of highly qualified certification must be attached to your application to be considered for this position.Pay Rate:Instructional Assistant Grade C2b Salary Scale (credit is based on years of full-time experience in a related position)Assignment:Full time / 10 months / 183 daysStart Date:This position is effective with the 2025-2026 school year. Applicants for the 2026-2027 school year will also be considered.
