Saw Operator (Sawyer)

Toyo Tanso USA is seeking a motivated and dependable Saw Operator / Sawyer / Manufacturing Machine Operator to join our growing team. This hands-on manufacturing role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with machinery, precision measuring tools, and technical production processes in a clean, team-oriented environment. In this role, you will operate industrial saws and manual machining equipment to produce high-quality precision products that support advanced materials manufacturing. We are looking for candidates who are safety-focused, mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to grow their manufacturing skills. This role is day shift Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm. Key ResponsibilitiesOperate industrial saws, cutting equipment, and manual machines to produce parts to precise specificationsRead and interpret blueprints, work orders, and customer specificationsUse precision measuring tools including tape measures, calipers, and gaugesPerform basic shop math and work within blueprint tolerancesFollow production schedules and dispatch lists to maintain workflow efficiencyMaintain quality standards while meeting production goalsNavigate basic computer systems including Windows-based manufacturing softwareTroubleshoot minor production or machine issues and communicate concerns appropriatelyMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentCollaborate with production, quality, and other interdepartmental teamsFollow all PPE and safety requirementsPerform additional duties as assigned QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredBasic knowledge of measuring equipment (tape measure, calipers)Experience operating saws preferred; hoist/cane experience a plusComfortable working around moving machinery, moderate noise, and non-toxic graphite dustAble to occasionally lift 35 pounds and perform repetitive tasksWillingness to work with required PPE (personal protective equipment)Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills Why Join Toyo Tanso USA?Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceEmployer Paid Short-term, Long-term, and Life Insurance401(k) Retirement Plan with Employer MatchThree weeks PTO + 9 paid holidaysTuition ReimbursementOpportunities for career growth and training
