Corporate Director of HR

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Corporate Human Resources Director to oversee our skilled nursing facilities. This job will require on site visits to the various Chicagoland facilities as well as office hours. The ideal candidate has a background in Human Resources in a Skilled Nursing setting and Recruitment.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalentExperience in human resources or related fieldAbility to build and maintain positive relationships with colleaguesExperience in educating and coaching staffExperience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes and workplace investigationsExperience in following and maintaining workplace privacyKnowledge of relevant health and safety lawsExperience using computers for a variety of tasksCompetency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and OutlookResponsibilitiesYou would be responsible for building our employer brand, improve employee engagement, build strategic talent resources plansYou will take ownership of all HR matters across the company from recruitment to performance reviews, wage reviews, disciplinary action, and learning and developmentConsistently recruiting excellent staffMaintaining a smooth onboarding processTraining, counseling and coaching our staffReview bi weekly payrolls across the facilitiesWork to ensure that staffing is according to budget across our facilitiesConducting performance and wage reviewsDeveloping clear policies and ensuring policy awarenessCreating clear and concise reportsGiving helpful and engaging presentationsMaintaining and reporting on workplace health and safety complianceHandling workplace investigations, disciplinary and termination proceduresMaintaining employee and workplace privacyJob Type: Full-timePay: From $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayWork Location: Hybrid remote in Skokie, IL 60076pora
