Shore’s Adult Services Day Program provides specialized Day Habilitation and Community-Based Day Support (CBDS) services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The program is currently seeking to hire a Program Manager at our Peabody location.\n\nThis is a great management opportunity for a person whose experience has led to a genuine commitment to ensuring that adults with developmental disabilities have access to meaningful activities and connections in their lives, are treated respectfully, and have the opportunity to make their own decisions and choices to the greatest extent possible.\nPrimary responsibilities of a Program Manager include:\nProvide positive leadership and oversight of assigned groups of program participants and the staff who directly support them;\nEnsure that scheduled activities are thoughtfully planned and executed;\nProvide staff with supervision, training and support;\nMaintain safety and program quality compliance;\nComplete case management assignments in a timely fashion;\nProvide direct support to our program participants as needed.\nYou will work in cooperation with other program managers, interdisciplinary therapists, nurses, staff, and the Program Director to facilitate smooth program operations, a friendly work environment, excellent communication internally among all program staff and externally with participants’ families, residential providers and service coordinators.
