This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience with advanced analytical techniques and contribute to the development of innovative materials.\nPosition Overview:\nAs a Scientist in our SIMS group, you will perform depth profile analysis of dielectric thin films using the Ion-ToF tool. You will analyze and test both new and existing materials such as SiN, SiO2, IGZO, and low-k to identify their properties and characteristics, aiding in product development and improvement.\nKey Responsibilities:\nConduct comprehensive analytical work independently, including complex tasks.\nApply standard and non-standard techniques to determine the composition, properties, and structure of materials.\nPrepare detailed reports on analytical results for customers, including interpretation of findings.\nProvide technical reviews for reports prepared by other analysts.\nEvaluate customer requests, determine testing requirements, and prepare project quotations.\nEnsure adherence to schedule, budget, and performance requirements.\nPotentially direct phases of revenue-producing projects.\nWork Schedule: Sundays to Thursdays, 8am-5pm\n\nQualifications\n\nEducation and Experience:\nPhD in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or Engineering with experience in materials characterization and surface analysis techniques.\nOR: MS in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience.\nOR: BS in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or Engineering with 5+ years of industry experience.\nSkills and Abilities:\nMust have experience with the Ion-ToF tool.\nFamiliarity with quality system documents and compliance with all system requirements.\nStrong analytical and judgment skills.\nHigh level of computer literacy, accuracy, and attention to detail.\nExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.\nExceptional written communication skills.\nThis position works with companies that deal with defense-related activities and is subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
