We pride ourselves on innovation, quality, and delivering tailored solutions to meet our clients' unique needs.\n\nLocation: Silent-Aire USA Manufacturing Facility, Gilbert, AZ\n\nWhat you will do\nYou will be responsible for the strategic direction, leadership, and overall administration of plant operations overseeing staffing and production of multiple departments or value streams while effectively and efficiently overseeing the development and direction of the production team to drive the growth of throughput, revenue, and the quality of goods produced in the facility. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, vendors, department managers and ensuring the integration of strategic plans within the plant facilities.\n\nHow you will do it\nPromote and enforce a culture of safety and well-being for all employees.\nAccountable to work with EH&S Specialist to ensure we are OH&S compliant across all functions of the plant.\nBe compliant with all EHSIS reporting requirements 24/7/14 for the plant.\nLead and participate in Zero Harm Culture program and initiatives.\nLead and monitor plant performance over multiple shifts with daily reporting against goals to ensure that progress is being made and that corrective action is taken if necessary.\nHold daily production meetings (Tier Daily Mgmt) and meet regularly with department heads/business unit leaders; facilitate resolution of issues/problems between business units and/or departments.\nResponsible for appropriate shift configurations, labor allocation, and staffing levels to meet production targets of the facility with production efficiency drive to 82% or greater.\nRecruit and hire staff as well as handle terminations and performance management.\nBack-up designate for the plant and facility operations such as security, access control, fire prevention and protection, preventative maintenance, and janitorial services.\nDevelop and implement new business strategies for creating or improving processes and procedures to improve performance.\nManage the morale in the facility by setting and demonstrating a strong business ethic for dealing with employees, suppliers, and customers by using and following our Core Values.\nEnhance and develop policies, procedures, and service systems to meet the goals of the facility.\nDirect, assist, participate and follow Lean Manufacturing principles across the plant.\nLead and participate in Zero Defect Culture program and initiatives. DPU reduction by product and production line.\nParticipate, review, and approve plans for the control of planned output, material efficiency, engineering effectiveness, human resources, and budget planning.\nResponsible for plant housekeeping and driving 5-S implementation and mindset.\nAnalyze and report on the plant’s daily, monthly, and annual key performance indicators (KPIs) and industry trends to determine the operational activities of the company and ensure accountable to optimum performance.\nImplement strategies around improving the financial performance of the department.\nCollaborate and participate in the execution of production schedule and resolve any obstacles to on time delivery.\nMonitor daily production targets and revise production plans when targets are off track to ensure the plant meets the monthly production target of units for on time delivery and financial goals.\nEnsure that all reporting employees adhere to company policies and procedures with a high level of professionalism.\nPerform all duties in accordance with Johnson Controls and Silent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA), Regulations, and Code.\nSome after-hours duties are required.\nOther duties as required.\n\nWhat we look for\n\nRequired:\n5+ years’ previous management experience in a construction, engineering, or manufacturing environment with proven leadership abilities\nEffective leadership skills, with a strong focus on plant and business processes\nAbility to identify key issues; creatively and strategically overcome internal challenges or obstacles\nPossess a clear and solid understanding of personnel policies, practices, procedures, and other operational issues faced by the organization\nEffective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy\nHigh level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability\nSound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills\nCritical thinking skills\nA well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills\nA sense of teamwork and community\nExperience in managing third-party service providers\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint\nKnowledge of local and federal regulations including OSHA/ADOSH and Employment Standards Code\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills\nStrong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization and its executive team\nStrong customer service orientation\n\nPreferred:\nUniversity degree or diploma in related field\nTraining and knowledge of Six Sigma techniques, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing\n\nReports to: Director of Plant Operations\nHIRING SALARY RANGE: $100,000-$150,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience,\nknowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market\ndata.)
