Would consider out of the area if exceptional\nJob Description\nWhat you will be doing?\nOversees the project progress activities ongoing on site and pay special attention to the complexity; documenting and coordinating field service reports supplied to you by the field service team (to be trained for needs)\nSite supervision experience related to glazing, millwork products\nTech savvy (excel, word, PDF report)\nPossessing an understanding of our product lines (granted through virtual training) in order to offer technical field support to the on-site installers.\nOrients, training if necessary, coaches, counseling, and communicates job expectations.\nManages sub-contractors by monitoring and controlling the job progress;\nMeets operational standards by contributing job site information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing productivity and quality;\nAccomplishes construction project results by respecting project scope;\nConducting inspections at critical phases; and troubleshoots on site conditions with GC that may involve other trades that would affect our trade (rough carpentry, drywall, etc.)\nAttend site meetings to validate job site conditions and projected completion dates to achieve a successful installation.\nCommunicate with project managers, engineers, clients, regulatory authorities and any other stakeholders necessary to achieve the project scope.\nMaintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures to ensure safe working conditions\nTake field dimensions using lasers and proper procedures and protocols. (will supply basic tools)\nEnhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments\nTravel as required to west coast, sometimes during off-work hours.\nPunch list installers work and be proactive to resolve issues prior to client walk through\nAny other ad hoc tasks/responsibilities given by supervisor.\nDo you have what it takes?\nMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar position or related fields;\nStrong understanding of the interior construction of commercial buildings;\nCapability of reading technical drawings;\nPrevious experience Architectural products, aluminum carpentry, wood costume cabinets, millwork, furniture design;\nDetail oriented, knowledge of using the table saw, planer, joiner, drill press, router, sanders and other hand tools and installation;\nHigh Driver - Ambitious, Results Orientated Go-getter. Self-Starter.
