Maintenance Technician III - 3rd Shift

We have a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician III position open. Working Sun. - Thur. 10pm - 6am.JOB SUMMARY:The Level 3 Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing troubleshooting, installation, equipment repairs, continuous improvement and preventative / daily maintenance of production and facility equipment. This position applies mechanical theory and related knowledge to test and modify manufacturing machinery and equipment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:Promotes job safety, and is an active participant in the development of plant safety goals, policies and proceduresPerform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilitiesInspect, set-up and adjust machine rolls; embossing and die rollsAccurately troubleshoot common mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issuesCheck and review work orders and complete tasks on a priority basisDemonstrate high levels of good housekeeping practicesParticipate in the management and maintenance of the parts inventory system, including research to determine parts requiredMaintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needsRespond to all breakdowns quickly and perform repairs correctly while performing quality workDevelop process capability changes to improve quality, reduce scrap and increase productivityPerform basic electrical preventative maintenance checksOperate forklift, aerial lift, tow motor, tractors, and other facility vehicles safelyParticipate in cross-functional project groupsAn individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
