Some working days in Oskaloosa will be required.Essential Criteria:Basic electrical and mechanical experience or aptitude is preferredExcellent technical and problem-solving abilityAbility to troubleshoot communication issues over the phone as directedExcellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skillsStrong personal initiative and ability to work with little supervisionBasic computer, email, and internet skills for receiving work instructions and job reportingAbility to learn internal communication systemComply with DOT rules and regulations to maintain Commercial Drivers' License (Musco will assist in obtaining the CDL Training/License)Must be at least 21 years old due to CDL requirements and eligibility to operate across state linesRoles and Responsibilities:Drive and operate Mobile lighting equipment at temporary lighting projects, including, but not limited to crane trucks, generators, forklifts, man lifts, all terrain forklifts, and rental carsPerform field service work, which will require working in aerial lifts, climbing poles, or driving/operating Musco equipmentPerform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspection of equipment and productCoordinate time frames for projects with customers, vendors, equipment, and people resources for assigned projectsMaintain consistent communication with Field Logistics Manager regarding daily work duties and schedulesProvide detailed written field reports and completion of required paperwork within one week of project or assignment of paperworkProvide leadership to crew and coordinate issues with vendors and customers on projects where Project Management responsibility has been assignedMake solid daily expense related decisionsOther duties as assignedOther Special Requirements:Weekend and holiday work are regularLong and odd work hours are necessary at timesProjects to service lighting poles or structures that are between 40 and 120 feet tall using aerial lifts or by climbing with approved fall protect equipment, in rare cases servicing heights of over 120 feet may be requiredWho is Musco:Musco, a privately held company since 1976, is the global leader in sports and large-area lighting solutions, with projects in 135 countries.
