Quality Technician

TRC Talent is looking for a Quality Technician in Kennesaw, GAJob Summary: As a Quality Technician, you will support the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System while ensuring products and processes meet company and customer standards. This role plays a key part in managing returns, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Job Details:Pay: $20/hr+ BOEType: Temp to hireJob Responsibilities:Investigate, document, and process customer returnsInvestigate, document, and process vendor returns (Return Purchase Orders)Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actionsAssist in implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS)Perform internal audits and support customer/external auditsMaintain and calibrate measuring and test equipmentParticipate in branch quality system reviewsSupport continuous improvement initiatives as Branch Lean FocalAssist Regional Lean Focal with workshop preparation (AIWs)Ensure audits are completed and results are posted in a timely mannerMaintain visual boards, audit records, and quality documentationSupport Shared Vision Boards at corporate and local levelsProvide internal and external technical supportEnsure short, effective team meetings (≤10 minutes)Identify process improvement opportunitiesFollow all safety procedures while working around warehouse machineryPerform additional duties as assignedPreferred Experience:High school diploma or GED requiredExperience or training in ISO 9001:2008 or AS9100/9120Experience with quality systems and Lean methodologiesASQ certification preferred3+ years of Quality Assurance/Control experience preferredKnowledge of safety/OSHA standards and manufacturing environments (metals experience a plus)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced warehouse environmentStrong communication and teamwork skillsBasic computer proficiencyTRC Talent Solutions is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
