Read below for more requirements.As a Vascular Technologist, you will use ultrasound and other non-invasive diagnostic tools to evaluate blood flow, detect vascular abnormalities, and assist in diagnosing conditions related to the circulatory system. You will play a key role in supporting physicians by providing accurate vascular imaging in a variety of clinical settings.As a Vascular Tech, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:Conduct vascular ultrasound exams including carotid, arterial, venous, and abdominal studiesUse Doppler technology and ultrasound equipment to assess blood flow and identify vascular conditionsExplain procedures to patients and ensure comfort during examsIdentify and document normal and abnormal imaging findings for physician interpretationEnsure proper patient positioning and use of equipment for optimal image qualityMaintain accurate patient records and documentationCalibrate and maintain ultrasound machines and related equipmentAdhere to infection control and patient safety standardsCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team membersSupport a clean and organized working environmentThe ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience as a Vascular Technologist. Additionally, they should possess a current BLS certification and hold the RVT (preferred), RVS, or ARDMS National Certification with appropriate experience. State licensure may be required.Vascular Technologists should have strong attention to detail, be able to stand for extended periods, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and technical skills.Requirements*: BLS, ARDMS (RDMS OB/GYN), ARDMS (RDMS RVT), 1 YearAdditional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.TotalMed Allied Job ID #1415930.
