As an engineer on this team, you will design, develop, and test simulations of our custom hardware. Our team plays a key role in hardware-software co-design, enabling early development of the full software stack.\nJoin us to shape the future of AI hardware abstraction and optimization!\nWhat You'll Do Here\nDesign and implement a Rust-based chip simulator, building a cycle-accurate model of our custom hardware\nCollaborate with simulator customers: architecture, verification/validation, compiler, and runtime teams\nWork closely with hardware architects, building models that shape the silicon design\nBuild tooling and infrastructure to aid in efficient correlation, debug, and testing\nUse AI development tools to accelerate your work\nWho You Are\nBachelor of Computer Science or an equivalent degree\nSkilled in Rust, or strongly interested in ramping up\nOutstanding software engineering skills, with a focus on maintainability and performance\nStrong foundation in computer architecture fundamentals\nExcellent cross-functional communication skills\nAble to work from our Mountain View, CA office three days a week (Tuesday-Thursday) as part of this hybrid role\nBonus Points If You Have\nExperience writing cycle-accurate simulators\nDeep knowledge of ML accelerator architectures\nExperience with benchmarking and optimizing Rust code\nFamiliarity with processor, memory, and networking architectures\nAn understanding of power, performance, and cost tradeoffs\nCompensation\nThe US base salary for this full-time position is determined based on a variety of factors including role, experience, location, job related skills, and relevant education and training.
