Additionally, the Program Coordinator is distinguishable from the Teacher role with additional administrative and staff coordination duties supporting a small group of 1 to 5 locations within a County, District, or Local regional operating area. The Program Coordinator, under direction from their supervisor, coordinates staff schedules, various supply purchases, and data reports.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nProgram Facilitation & Delivery\n\nProvide care and quality learning experiences for children of multiple ages in the same setting.\nCreate appropriate learning environments inclusive of children with special needs.\nLearn and implement adaptive methods and strategies for working with all children.\nWork in a culturally and linguistically sensitive manner with families from diverse backgrounds.\nMaintain files on families and record attendance as necessary.\nDevelop relationships with point of contact at individual court site.\nProvide input for program planning and development.\nRefer families to local resources as needed.\nMaintain active communication with Catalyst Community staff.\n\nCommunication\n\nEstablish relationships with parent and children utilizing the child care services at the courthouse.\nMaintain active communication with Catalyst Community staff located at corporate offices.\nDemonstrate ability to effectively speak and write in English.\n\nCustomer Orientation\n\nCoordinate and communicate with regional site contacts to ensure program satisfaction.\nDemonstrate a genuine openness to hearing what others think and feel and respond appropriately.\nSolicit feedback from parents/guardians utilizing services and adjust program goals as needed.\nRespond to both internal and external customers with promptness and openness.\n\nInterpersonal Effectiveness\n\nDemonstrate sensitivity and empathy towards others.\nClearly communicate agreements by collaboratively defining roles, specifying agreed upon goals and establishing timelines.\nCoach and provide feedback to all team staff regarding project performance and professional growth.\nDemonstrate an understanding of one’s own strengths and outline your needs to do your best work.\nModel reflective practice strategies while interacting with others.\n\nPlanning and Organizing\n\nCoordinate staff scheduling and location coverage under the direction of supervisor\nCoordinate purchasing of supplies and materials for Court Program locations using Catalyst Community procurement procedures.\nCoordinate data collection processes for quality programs and operations.
