Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Service Combo Technician with experience in fire alarm, security, and access control systems to support commercial and industrial projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale installations, upgrades, and service work across multiple job sites.This position is ideal for a well-rounded technician who is comfortable working in the field, traveling as needed, and interacting with customers while delivering high-quality installations and service.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, service, and troubleshoot fire alarm, security, and access control systemsPerform system upgrades, device replacements, and new installationsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagramsConduct inspections, testing, and maintenance of low-voltage systemsDiagnose and resolve system issues efficientlyEnsure all work is completed in compliance with applicable codes and safety standardsCommunicate effectively with customers, project managers, and team membersMaintain accurate documentation of work performedProject TypesCommercial buildingsIndustrial facilitiesWarehouses and distribution centersRetail spacesOffice environmentsWork OptionsService TechnicianTroubleshooting, inspections, and service workPrimarily local work with limited travelHome most nightsCompensation ($30-$42 p/hr)Competitive hourly pay based on experience and certificationsAdditional compensation for licensed and certified techniciansTravel pay and per diem (for traveling roles)Preferred QualificationsExperience with:Fire alarm systemsAccess control systemsSecurity / intrusion systemsCCTV systemsStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsAbility to work independently and on a teamExperience in commercial or industrial environmentsGood communication and customer service skillsValid driver's license and clean driving recordCertifications & Licensing (Preferred)State-specific Fire Alarm License (where applicable)NICET Certification (any level)Manufacturer certifications are a plusNote: Highly experienced technicians without current licensing may be considered depending on experience and project needs.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift, carry, and move equipment (up to 50 lbs)Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in various job site conditionsAbility to travel and work extended hours when requiredHow to ApplyIf this is the right fit for you, apply now or call 256-298-8338 for more information.
