Retail Store Manager ( Georgetown, DC )

Role Overview We are looking for a Retail Brand Experience Store Manager to be part of our team in Georgetown, Washington, DC. Location On‑site at our location in Georgetown, Washington, DC. Not a remote position. Pay Transparency $60,000 - $75,000 yearly, plus potential monthly bonus. Responsibilities Create, report, drive and track KPIs/OKRs around sales goals. Provide in‑the‑moment coaching and feedback to the team. Offer feedback and suggestions to management on improving the retail experience. Engage with customers and staff as a visible spokesperson and advocate for the brand. Manage and coordinate Avocado events within the location. Respond to customer inquiries (product information, order updates, issue resolution). Handle and resolve escalated customer issues. Ensure the team is well‑versed in all products and processes. Train the team on new product releases. Assist with daily workload of responding to customer emails, chats, and visits in showroom. Prepare and administer monthly performance reviews for employee improvement. Suggest methods to improve operations, efficiency, and service. Ensure calls and overall workload handled efficiently and effectively. Collaborate with customer experience, production, and logistics to maintain a low return rate. Manage the overall condition of our showroom. Attend community events and meetings as brand representative. Champion our brand's values in community. Manage inventory of sellable products across all channels. Ensure store operations are in working order; follow up on repairs or maintenance. Limit shrink of products and peripherals. Enable lifting up to 200 lbs and being on feet all day. Engage in digital sales activities (sales through chats, phones, virtual appointments). Follow up with customers through CRM platform. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of retail experience, including store management and keyholder responsibilities. Experience managing store employees. Passionate about healthy living, environmental awareness, and social responsibility. Prior experience with brands sharing similar values is a plus. Experience creating, reporting, and tracking KPIs/OKRs around sales goals. Previous experience running branded events is a plus. Invested in creating a balanced and healthy environment for staff and guests. Team player who actively contributes to tasks, goals, or projects. Entrepreneurial spirit to elevate location. Regular and predictable attendance. Physical Requirements Mobility: ability to remain in stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. Movement: repeating motions with wrists, hands, fingers; reaching or bending repeatedly. Move objects up to 50 lbs in all directions. Lift up to 200 lbs using aids or equipment. Operate computer and office machines. Communicate with team members to update task status.
