You’ll collaborate with senior engineers and cross‑disciplinary teams, lead small project scopes, and mentor junior staff. Structural Engineers at CRB contribute to a wide range of impactful projects, including projects in Life Sciences & Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nLead and manage discipline‑specific design scope and budget on small to mid‑sized projects.\n\nDevelop construction drawing packages and specifications with minimal oversight.\n\nConduct and lead field surveys, site walks, and construction field reporting.\n\nIdentify and document non‑compliant existing conditions during site visits.\n\nInterface with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.\n\nSupport proposal development and contribute to internal training presentations.\n\nLead squad checks and discipline reviews to ensure design quality.\n\nMentor Engineer I and Designer I/II team members.\n\nAssist in system design programming and master planning with senior support.\n\nQualifications\n\nABET‑accredited Bachelor’s degree in discipline‑specific field\n\nMinimum of 10 years of experience for Lead position, preferably in a design firm setting\n\nProficiency in structural‑specific software\n\nAdvanced experience with performing engineering calculations, and developing and implementing list of discipline systems designs\n\nAdvanced experience with the structural material codes\n\nIntermediate experience with other applicable industry standards\n\nIntermediate experience with applicable building codes\n\nProficient at advanced internal and external cross‑discipline project team coordination\n\nProficient at coordinating with construction trade partners, vendors and manufacturers\n\nProficient at structural design calculations with limited supervision\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nProficiency in AutoCAD and Revit\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office suite\n\nExperience with internal discipline design and engineering training presentations\n\nExperience with troubleshooting issues with discipline and systems\n\nBenefits\nCRB offers a complete and competitive benefit package designed to meet individual and family needs.\n\nEqual Opportunity Employment\nCRB is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
