Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

If you enjoy being at the center of building and launching new production systems while collaborating cross-functionally, we want to hear from you.What You Will Be DoingSpecify, design, and support the build of manufacturing equipment, including writing RFQs and managing supplier interactionsLead equipment installation and commissioning activities, including FAT/SAT and ramp to productionEvaluate and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, yield, and overall performanceCollaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, supply chain) to ensure successful equipment launchesPresent equipment designs and updates in design reviews with leadership and scaling teamsSupport PFMEA, Control Plans, SOPs, and capability studies for new processesAnalyze production data to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiativesPartner with contractors and integrators to install equipment and infrastructure for new manufacturing linesEnsure all equipment meets safety standards and is properly validated for production useHelp develop preventative and predictive maintenance strategiesSupport training of operations teams on equipment functionality and safetyWhat We Need From YouBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fieldDemonstrated experience with new equipment design, builds, installation, and debugging.Extensive experience in commissioning new equipment.Experience with material application equipment and technology, such as roll coating, nozzle dispense, digital printing and pad printing.Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and workflow in a high-volume, highly automated operationAll-Star SkillsetExposure to PLC programming (Rockwell/Siemens), robotics, or automation systemsExperience with machine vision systems (Cognex, Keyence)Background in glass, solar, or other precision manufacturing environmentsThe PerksOpportunity to work on cutting-edge clean technology with real-world sustainability impactHigh-growth environment with strong career advancement potentialCollaborative, team-oriented culture with exposure to cross-functional initiativesCompetitive compensation and benefits packageStaffBright – Who We AreStaffBright connects exceptional professionals with fulfilling opportunities in Finance, IT, Engineering, and Sales & Marketing.
