Here, you are part of a company that rewards your contributions and encourages you to take ownership of your career.\nJob Description Your Responsibilities Maintain Fabrication cost models and keeps standards up to date with time and material studies.\nWork with the pricing team and local fabrication shops on major proposals.\nEvaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.\nResearch and develop new manufacturing methods to reduce lead times, costs, and improve quality.\nIdentify key site capacity constraints and provide timely solutions.\nManage continuous improvement project pipeline to prioritize projects in relation to cost, benefit, and effort.\nFacilitate Kaizen events for rapid process improvements.\nUses Lean Six Sigma tools and other manufacturing methodology to measure, understand, control and improve process variability and efficiency.\nDocument quality assurance activities, create reports, and track KPIs for management review.\nImplement continuous improvement methodologies to optimize processes and reduce costs implement quality control methodologies, checklists, and testing procedures to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements.\nConduct audits and inspections to verify compliance with internal and external quality standards.\nPerform root cause analysis on defects and non-conformances, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.\nInvestigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality.\nAny other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.\nYour Qualifications Minimum of 18 years of age.\nIf operating a Company Vehicle, a valid driver’s license will be required.\n5 years of manufacturing engineering or continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.\nExperience in Insulation industry preferred.\nGood command of MS Office programs.\nERP (SXE) or other reporting tools knowledge.\nKnowledgeable with ACAD, Visio, or other design applications.\nKnowledgeable with modeling software (i.e. Arena, MPX).\nStrong ERP and Oracle experience.\nProblem soling including 8D reporting.\nMinitab.\nCreating report in PowerBI.\nEducation Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related degree.\nTravel Requirements Type of Travel Required: Local Amount of Travel Required: Physical Requirements Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted to load and unload various products.
