Injection Mold Technician
Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Injection Mold Technician to support a newly approved weekend production shift for an established manufacturing company. This hands-on role focuses primarily on mold setups, changeovers, and robotics programming. The technician will support production across multiple injection molding machines and work closely with operators and other technicians to maintain production goals and minimize downtime. Key Responsibilities Perform mold setups and changeovers on injection molding machines
Program and operate robotic automation systems used in production
Ensure machines run efficiently and produce quality parts at standard cycle times
Troubleshoot molding machines, molds, and robotics as needed
Monitor production performance and minimize scrap and waste
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Communicate equipment issues or breakdowns with maintenance and production leadership
Support overall production performance and continuous improvement efforts
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely
Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 2+ years of injection molding technician experience
Experience performing mold setups and changeovers
Experience programming and operating robotics in a molding environment
Strong troubleshooting skills with molding equipment and automation
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently
Ability to work effectively within a small production team
Physical ability to lift weight up to 50 lbs. Intermittently
Ability to work for extended periods walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting
Employment Type & Compensation This is a Full-Time | Direct Hire | Permanent placement with employer
Pay Rate is $58,5240 - $72,800 per year, based on experience

Work Schedule Weekends | Friday-Sunday | 6:00am-6:00pm
