We are in the market for a network superintendent.\nDescription:\n\nA Network Superintendent is the primary jobsite supervisor with operational responsibility for employees involved in the installation, alteration, addition, and/or repair of structured cabling systems, and associated materials and equipment for small, midsize and large ground up projects of tenant finish projects where complex coordination of multiple subordinate Foremen and crews is required.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities\n\nMust have 5 or more years of supervising structured cabling, voice data, security install or A/V install work experience as well as demonstrated skills at the Installer and Technician levels.\nDoes a working estimate and takeoff jointly with the Project Manager.\nLays out work for subordinate Foremen and lead persons, and is jointly responsible with the Project Manager for having material, tools, equipment, information and appropriate manpower in the proper place in a timely fashion.\nEstablishes work schedules and man-loading charts.\nInterfaces with representatives of the General Contractor on day to day project scheduling and overall performance issues.\nProvides general supervision to subordinate Foremen engaged in the installation of structured cabling installations; and related connections and terminations.\nMonitors work as performed, directs subordinate Foremen and crews, and schedules work according to the pace of the job and other trades.\nIs responsible overall project safety performance. Assures employees are properly trained of instructed in performance of duties to which assigned. Assures compliance with all Walker safety processes and protocols.
