HR Leave AdministratorSacramento, CAFull-Time | Monday– Friday | On-Site - Contract role @ 90 days$ 37.00 - $55.00 per hourA respected public sector organization is seeking an experienced HR Leave Administrator to support a dynamic Human Resources team. This role is ideal for an HR professional with strong leave administration experience who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Primary Focus of the Assignment:The primary responsibility of this position will be supporting Leave Administration in compliance with all State and Federal laws.Responsibilities include:Providing guidance to employees, supervisors, and management regarding leave of absence situationsAdministering and ensuring compliance with FMLA, CFRA, and other statutory leave programsAssisting with leave tracking, balances, and documentationReviewing confidential employee records and work historiesCoordinating with senior staff, legal representatives, and internal departmentsMaking recommendations regarding statutory leave matters and processes Additional Responsibilities:Coordinate recruitment and selection activitiesSupport employee benefits administration and employee inquiriesMaintain HRIS data integrity and assist with payroll-related functionsConduct research, reporting, and HR project supportInterpret policies, labor agreements, and employment regulationsPrepare reports, correspondence, and HR documentation Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor' s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Organizational Development, or closely related fieldMinimum three (3) years of experience in one or more of the following:Recruitment/selectionBenefits administrationPension administrationLeave administrationHRIS administrationClassification/compensationPosition controlHuman resources project implementationPublic sector experience preferredIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel Ideal Candidate:Strong understanding of federal and state leave lawsExcellent analytical and organizational skillsAbility to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretionEffective communicator with strong customer service abilitiesAble to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a professional environment Why Apply?Opportunity to gain valuable public sector HR experienceCollaborative and professional team environmentMeaningful and impactful HR workDiverse responsibilities with growth potential
