As a 3rd Shift Machine Operator, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality products while adhering to safety standards and production schedules.\nDuties\nOperate a variety of manufacturing equipment including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, and press brake machines with precision and confidence.\nSet up and adjust machinery using technical drawings, blueprints, CAD files, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to ensure accurate production runs.\nProgram CNC machines utilizing CAM programming and CNC programming techniques to optimize machine performance and product quality.\nPerform routine inspections using calipers, micrometers, precision measuring instruments, and other tools to verify dimensions and maintain quality standards.\nConduct troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs on equipment to minimize downtime during shift.\nHandle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment; assist with warehouse organization and packaging as needed.\nFollow safety protocols diligently, maintain a clean work environment, and document production activities accurately in shift reports.\nSkills\nProficiency with Fanuc controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine operation and troubleshooting.\nStrong mechanical knowledge with experience in fabrication, welding, tooling setup, and assembly line processes.\nSkilled in blueprint reading, CAD design (SolidWorks preferred), CAM programming, and CNC machining operations including CNC milling machines and CNC lathes.\nExperience operating stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and other manufacturing equipment.\nAbility to use hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and basic math skills for measurement verification.\nKnowledge of quality control procedures to ensure products meet specifications; familiarity with GD&T standards is a plus.\nPrevious factory or manufacturing facility experience with materials handling, packaging, fabrication or assembly line work is highly desirable.\nStrong safety awareness combined with the ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high productivity levels.
