SBS Evaluation & Program Development Specialists is a small professional consulting firm established to provide quality and culturally competent evaluation services in New Mexico. We are known for our quality work, integrity, responsiveness and competency. Our clients include federal agencies, state agencies, counties, cities, universities, and tribes.\nThe Evaluation Associate will assist with project evaluation, project management, and client engagement for various projects throughout the state of NM. The work involves meeting with agencies that contract us to evaluate their programs, developing data collection tools, conducting stakeholder interviews, focus groups, data collection through surveys, compiling findings and managing data, data analysis, and reporting findings. Data visualization skills are a plus. Projects we currently evaluate focus on substance abuse prevention, treatment, trauma & resiliency and housing. Past projects have focused on exercise, nutrition and early childhood education, DWI, and provider training on MAT.\nResponsibilities:\nMaintain contact with projects that contract with SBS Evaluation\nAssist in the coordination of evaluation activities\nDesign quantitative and qualitative data collection plans.\nConduct focus groups and key stakeholder interviews\nDevelop data collection instruments\nMeet with substance abuse prevention and/or treatment programs to monitor program implementation and continuous program improvement.\nCollect, review, analyze secondary data.\nWrite reports and create presentation for a range of audiences incorporating effective data visualization.\nProvide technical support to clients on data collection, data collection tool development, data entry, and data systems.\nProvide training and capacity building around evaluation\nProfessional communication with State, Federal, local government and community partners organizations\nWork on multiple projects simultaneously.\nProgram Management- understanding the scope of work, performance measures, and timelines for projects.
