In this role, you will work within a team to implement new features and functionality as well as maintain, support and upgrade existing functionality. In addition, you will utilize prior eCommerce experience to identify and implement improvements in current technology implementations. Your duties will also include driving teams in designing software solutions to meet project requirements, maintaining and refactoring existing code, writing tests, and fixing bugs. Guiding, mentoring, coaching team members on right track to achieve technical solutions per principles.\r\nWhat Will You Be Doing?\r\nDevelop and maintain the UI tier making use of industry best practices.\r\nWorks with product team to understand project requirements & builds reusable code and libraries for future use.\r\nOptimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.\r\nCreating technical documentation – Designing architecture, flow diagrams, documenting technical implementation approaches and pseudocode.\r\nImplement rapid updates to fulfill changing business and marketing requirements.\r\nDevelop functional and technical documentation and designs for assigned projects.\r\nWork within a team environment, supporting the team goals, and improving web development engineering practices.\r\nAnalyze and optimize front end architecture and maximize page performance.\r\nUtilize SASS to create responsive page layouts and styles.\r\nAct as mentor to peers & juniors providing ideas and constructive feedback during brainstorming sessions.\r\nSet and evolve standards and best practices for our application development teams.\r\nDevelop code consistent with company standard coding practices.\r\nLead effort in modernizing frontend UI layer.\r\nCollaborating with global teams on various technical implementations, discussions.\r\nAssist Tech Leads, Delivery Managers with team/work status, technical roadmaps, estimations, innovation roadmaps.\r\nWhat Do You Need To Bring?\r\nBA/BS Degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field, or equivalent experience.\r\n10+ years of experience in a related field, writing semantic, modular front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.\r\nExperience in all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, unit test, system test, deployment and production support.\r\nUnderstanding of the concept of progressive enhancement.\r\nIn-depth knowledge of mobile first responsive design.\r\nFamiliarity with browser testing and debugging.\r\nExperience developing code compliant with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG).\r\nExperience with CI/CD theory and automated testing workflows.\r\nExperience with the following languages, technologies, or methodologies:\r\nHTML5, SASS/CSS3\r\nCSS frameworks (ex. SASS, LESS)\r\nExpert level knowledge on React, ES6, and legacy jQuery stacks, unit tests using various libraries, e.g.: Mocha, Jasmine, Jest etc.\r\nWorkflow automation using Grunt/Gulp\r\nKnowledge of React and common tools used in the wider React ecosystem, such as Node.js and NPM.\r\nReact/JavaScript design patterns (MVC, Flux, Redux, Hooks)\r\nPerformance optimization tools (YSlow, Pagespeed)\r\nUnderstanding & working experience in Monolithic & Micro Frontend Architectures.
