This role also provides technical direction and code review to junior developers and maintains all ATO artifacts.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, enhance, and sustain the DMC custom-built application portfolio\nProvide technical leadership for backend and application-layer development using Microsoft .NET and Azure cloud technologies\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure\nEnsure applications remain secure, stable, and compliant under the active VA umbrella ATO and FIPS 199 Moderate requirements\nLead the migration of SSRS reports to Power BI\nLead the modernization of WebForms applications to ASP.NET Core within the VAEC framework\nDesign and maintain complex relational SQL Server databases and create or modify database objects using advanced T-SQL\nMaintain data dictionaries, metadata documentation, and report-to-data-source traceability\nManage and document enterprise-level data management practices aligned with Level 4–5 CMMI target operating maturity; formal appraisal not required\nEnsure secure coding practices and support ATO vulnerability remediation\nProvide technical direction and conduct code reviews for junior developers\nMaintain all required ATO artifacts\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; no equivalencies accepted\n8+ years of software development experience\nSignificant experience with Azure cloud technologies, including Databricks, Synapse, API Management, Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Monitor\nExperience with ASP.NET Core, C#, T-SQL, Power BI, and Kendo UI\nProven experience leading software development projects and providing technical oversight\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAdvanced Microsoft certifications\nFederal ATO or RMF experience\nEligibility:\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future\nMust be able to obtain and maintain the required federal Public Trust clearance for this role\nCompensation:\nSalary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements.
