Job SummaryThe Assembler/Packaging Operator I is responsible for light assembly, inspection, cleaning, and packaging of medical products in a controlled or designated environment, such as a cleanroom or non-sterile packaging area. This position may include boxing, palletizing, and preparing items for release. The role requires adherence to all relevant policies, safety regulations, and quality procedures. The operator will work collaboratively within a team and must be able to take direction from team leads and management.Key ResponsibilitiesAssembly & Packaging (80%)Assemble and package medical products per specifications using methods including:Reading and interpreting product specifications and blueprintsVerifying component counts, quantities, and revisionsCleaning components for packaging preparationPerforming tasks such as bonding, winding, crimping, pressing, cutting, etc.Affixing accurate labelingSealing products using heat sealers and various packaging materials (e.g., Tyvek, PET, foil, blister packs, form-fill-seal)Boxing and packaging for shipment to sterilization vendorsGeneral Support (10%)Assist in product rework or sorting components as neededSupport quality and materials team when requiredPerform other duties as assignedCompliance Documentation (5%)Complete accurate documentation in accordance with S.N.E. policies and applicable regulatory standards including:FDA, QSR, and relevant domestic/international regulationsPerform bar code scanning and data entry as applicableTeam Collaboration (5%)Communicate effectively within a team settingPractice active listening and respectful collaborationMaintain a cooperative and productive work environmentRequired QualificationsEducation:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredExperience:Prior cleanroom or medical device packaging experience preferred but not requiredPreferred Qualifications (if any)Experience in a GMP or ISO-regulated environmentFamiliarity with manufacturing documentation and quality assurance processesCertifications (if any)None requiredCompetencies & SkillsFine motor skills and ability to handle small componentsBasic reading, writing, and math skills in EnglishStrong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions and SOPsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 35 lbsAbility to stand or sit for extended periods based on specific job functionManual dexterity to operate hand tools and packaging equipmentTolerance for working in controlled/cleanroom environmentsEducation: High SchoolCompany DescriptionCompunnel Inc., established in 1994; is a leading provider of Staffing, IT/Software, e-Learning/Training, Business Intelligence, and Cloud Solutions.
