Join our growing team supporting customer missions as a Cloud Software Engineer in Herndon, Virginia .\r\nResponsibilities\r\nDevelop, build, and optimize systems for data collection, storage, access, and analytics at enterprise scale\r\nMake data available, accessible, and secure to all stakeholders\r\nDevelop robust and resilient data pipelines to connect data sources to analytics tools\r\nAnalyze data sources for accuracy, data prioritization, and apply appropriate logic to developed solutions\r\nWork with various team members to craft solutions to requirements and/or help refine the requirements for implementation\r\nEnumerate the necessary datasets and design the data model and schemas to support the requirements\r\nProvide platform support, including problem solving and debugging, for production issues\r\nCoach junior team members through the Software Development Life Cycle process\r\nFollow the deployment procedures and standard operating procedures utilized by the team\r\nQualifications\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\n7+ years' experience in application development, software engineering or data engineering\r\n2+ years' recent practical (applied) experience with Python\r\nExperience with ETL, data transformation and data pipelines\r\nExperience taking data collection requirements and translating those requirements into implementable solutions\r\nDemonstrated experience optimizing connectivity between cloud-based services and on prem high performance cloud compute servers.\r\nDemonstrated experience with DevSecOps solutions and tools.\r\nDemonstrated experience in the Software Development Life Cycle to include debugging, testing, and deployment to different environments\r\nDesired Qualifications\r\nExperience with Database Management, SQL and/or PostgreSQL\r\nExperience with Linux\r\nWhat you can expect from us\r\nBCore is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
