The incumbent oversees the day-to-day management of Product Master Data products and services (capabilities, features, and functions) and conducts research and analysis to build and maintain a product roadmap that supports customer, supplier, and multi-channel experiences.\r\nThey will shape the strategy for master data systems and processes within Merchandising Operations in alignment with company initiatives, working cross-functionally and with leadership to ensure efficient execution of both strategy and roadmap.\r\nThe incumbent partners with key business areas to achieve targeted goals by applying continuous improvement and transformation expertise. They are proficient in automation, master data, and continuous improvement to ensure timely acquisition, accurate and complete master data.\r\nPrimary Responsibilities\r\nAutomation & Process Improvements:\r\nProactively identify manual or inefficient processes and propose and implement AI, automation, or system enhancements. Leverage (or develop) process improvement methodologies to achieve business goals, including designing, building, and maintaining reliable automated workflows for audits, reporting, and file delivery.\r\nEnsure schedules and automations run as expected with appropriate monitoring, quick resolution of failures, and thorough testing of changes prior to production release. Serve as a subject matter expert to assist with production support issues.\r\nBusiness Requirements & Governance:\r\nCollaborate with content, asset, and data governance stakeholders to assess business issues and determine the appropriate solution approach (e.g., automation vs. system enhancement), translating policies into checks, controls, and workflows that uphold data quality and governance standards.\r\nWhere applicable, develop corresponding user stories that align with business requirements and planned development, and ensure thorough user testing and validation with business stakeholders.\r\nServes as a Subject Matter Expert in assisting with the resolution of production support issues.\r\nProduct Master Data System Support\r\nTranslate complex concepts and customer needs into executable product plans by creating and maintaining a prioritized backlog. Set priorities and product development cycles for initiatives, ensuring alignment with company strategy and balancing value, risk, and urgency.\r\nActively participate in Scrum events (sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups) by clarifying priorities, ensuring upcoming work is 'ready,' and supporting the development team with ongoing questions.\r\nRoadmap\r\nApply knowledge of business applications, processes, and their cross-functional impacts to develop, maintain and deliver a roadmap aligned with company initiatives that support automation, process improvement and Product Master Data system enhancements.\r\nEducation and Experience\r\nLevel of Formal Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience\r\nArea of Study: Business Management, Business Administration, Project Management\r\nMinimum Years of Experience: 5\r\nType of Experience\r\nProviding application requirements for UI/UX, workflows\r\nExperience with master data applications and data model\r\nVirtual machine automation and scheduling\r\nProcess and continuous improvement experience\r\nWriting AI user prompts within AI tools\r\nSpecial Certifications: Agile, LEAN, Six Sigma certifications or related process methodologies strongly preferred\r\nTechnical Competencies & Information Systems:\r\nAdvanced expertise in SQL Server, Excel, Project and other MS Office Products\r\nMS Power Platform\r\nBasic understanding of programming logic/structure\r\nSkills & Abilities:\r\nPositive energy to promote engagement and drive results\r\nAbility to work with all levels of the organization, influence leaders to change/adopt change, build trust and credibility\r\nFacilitation, problem solving and analytical skills\r\nMotivated self-starter and team player\r\nExceptional skills in analyzing current systems and processes\r\nOrganization and project management skills\r\nPersonal Attributes & Other/Preferred:\r\nSound decision maker\r\nGood planner\r\nCreative thinker\r\nInterpersonal and writing skills\r\nAttention to detail\r\nAbility to multitask and handle ambiguity\r\nPay, Benefits & Work Schedule:\r\nThe company offers competitive salaries, a benefits package, which includes a401(k) and more, along with plenty of opportunities to move and grow within our organization!
