The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and commercial teams.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport daily operations of oil & gas facilities, including production sites, pipelines, processing plants, or refineriesMonitor system performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and throughputTroubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actionsPerform engineering calculations, data analysis, and performance evaluationsAssist with design, modification, and optimization of equipment and systemsSupport planning and execution of maintenance activities, turnarounds, and projectsParticipate in root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents, failures, and process upsetsEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirementsPrepare and maintain engineering documentation, procedures, and reportsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, HSE, and project managementRequired QualificationsBachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Pipeline or related discipline)2+ years of experience in the oil & gas, energy, or industrial sectorBasic understanding of:Fluid flow, thermodynamics, and mechanical systemsOil & gas production, processing, or transportation systemsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skillsEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesPreferred QualificationsExperience in upstream, midstream, or downstream operationsFamiliarity with industry standards and regulations (API, OSHA, PHMSA, EPA)Experience with engineering software xaygatp or modeling toolsExposure to control systems (SCADA/DCS)EIT or Professional Engineer (PE) certificationKey CompetenciesSafety-focused with strong operational awarenessAbility to work in dynamic, high-consequence environmentsStrong attention to detail and data-driven decision-makingAdaptability and willingness to learn across multiple disciplinesOwnership mindset with a focus on resultsWork EnvironmentCombination of office and field environmentMay include travel to operational sites (onshore or offshore)Exposure to industrial conditions such as noise, heat, and hydrocarbonsBenefits Offered:401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insuranceVision insuranceDisability insuranceVacation pay for eligible employees**Equal Opportunity Employer
