You will collaborate closely with senior leadership, gaining visibility into how investment decisions are made, how projects are underwritten, and how strategic priorities shape design and construction direction. This is an excellent fit for someone who wants to grow beyond technical execution and develop into a well-rounded development professional.\nThis role is ideal for someone with strong technical and project management capabilities who also wants exposure to feasibility, underwriting inputs, entitlements, and other development functions. Our hands-on team structure ensures meaningful involvement across the full development lifecycle.\nWhat You Will Get to Do\n\nDesign & Construction Management\nManage architects, engineers, consultants, and GCs as the Owner’s Representative\nOversee design development, drawing reviews, and constructability evaluations\nMaintain budgets, forecasts, cost controls, and change management\nTrack schedules, milestones, and critical path progress\nLead OAC meetings and coordinate all project communications\nConduct site visits to evaluate progress, quality, and compliance\nManage permitting and jurisdictional coordination as needed\nDevelopment Support\nProvide cost, schedule, and constructability inputs for feasibility and underwriting\nSupport due diligence (survey, environmental, geotech, zoning, market studies)\nAssist with lender reporting, draw requests, and investor updates\nCollaborate on unit layouts, amenities, and operational considerations\nParticipate in pre-turnover and lease-up coordination\nRequirements:\nWhat You Bring to The Role\n\nBachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate, or related field\nMinimum 5 years of experience; 7+ years preferred in Owner’s Rep work, architecture, construction management, or development management\nStrong understanding of multifamily building systems, construction methods, and code compliance\nProficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and advanced Excel for project management, document review, and cost tracking\nStrong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities\nInterest in expanding beyond project execution into broader development responsibilities\nAbility to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment\nWillingness to travel 20%+\n\nOur Ideal Candidate Will Also Possess\n\nLEED AP, PMP, AIA, PE, or similar credentials\nExperience with podium or wrap multifamily projects\nFamiliarity working in multiple permitting environments\nIndustry involvement (ULI, NAIOP, NMHC)\nWhat We Offer\nDalian’s people and culture are the most enriching aspects that make us a great place to work.
