Brief DescriptionWarehouse Receiver: Job OverviewThe Warehouse Receiver is responsible for supporting all procedures and functions within the Receiving Department. This role ensures full compliance with SQF Food Safety Code, company policies, and all food and personnel safety standards. The Receiver plays a critical role in maintaining product quality, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities Perform all receiving functions accurately and efficiently in accordance with Baldor policies and proceduresInspect incoming products to verify quality, condition, and compliance with food safety standardsConfirm quantities and ensure all documentation aligns with purchase orders and company requirementsRecord and report any discrepancies, including:Overage or shortagesDamaged goodsExpiration datesProduct temperatureTrailer conditionEvidence of pest activity or tamperingUtilize RF scanners and warehouse systems to track and process inventoryMaintain strong communication with the Receiving Supervisor regarding issues, discrepancies, or concernsFollow all Receiving SOPs and provide feedback to improve processesEnsure all assigned tasks are completed within required timeframesFood Safety & ComplianceAdhere to all HACCP and SQF standardsFollow all company safety policies and proceduresImmediately report any safety concerns, incidents, or violationsMaintain cleanliness and organization in receiving areasWork ScheduleMust be available to work 5 days per weekStandard shift: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PMFlexibility required for additional days or adjusted start times based on business needsQualificationsExperience operating an RF Scanner requiredKnowledge of receiving processes and produce/food handling preferredPrevious warehouse experience in a food distribution environment strongly preferredBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsFrequent bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbsComfortable working in a cold warehouse environment (36°F – 38°F)EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent required
