Machine operators are responsible for setting machines to meet job-specific dimensions in accordance with MIS instructions. Operators hold the harness over their shoulders and feed into the braiding machine.\n\n*Job Core Tasks:*\n\n· *Must* be able to stand throughout the entirety of the shift as the position is a *standing position.*\n\n· *Must *be to hold harnesses weighing up to 50 lbs over their shoulders for extended periods of time.\n\n· Must always wear safety glasses while on the production floor.\n\n· Follow company policies and regulations as listed on MIS Policy Acknowledgment Form.\n\n*Skills:*\n\n· Ability to perform basic computer functions such as reading and entering data, navigating MIS software, training provided, and basic troubleshooting.\n\n· Basic reading skills.\n\n· Time management.\n\n· Communication skills, being able to alert manager or lead when an error occurs.\n\n· Ability to lift 25 pounds and move up to 50 pounds with barrel dolly.\n\n· Mechanical skills\n\n*Disclaimer:*\n\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this position.
