Monday to friday (3 days/12 Hours)Per Week: 36 HoursUnit Capacity: 36 BedsPopulation Served: Cardiac and Neuro Stepdown: Cardiac bedside monitoring, Cardiac drips, TR bands, Post heart caths, Stroke/Neuro patients, BIPAP overflowsAges of Patients Served: Young Adult through Late Adult (18 - 60+)Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:6Core Staffing Plan: Variable staffing grid to include: Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), Nurse Interns (NIs).An RN assumes full responsibility for the patients on each team.Staffing Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)Successful completion of a proctored rhythm testRoles & ResponsibilitiesImplement and monitor patient care plans.
