This is a high-impact role in a fast-growing environment, requiring strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to support customer deployments.\n\nA day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:\n\nDesign and develop high-quality 2D and 3D CAD models for customer site implementations.\n\nConfigure, deploy, maintain, and upgrade CAD models to support installation projects.\n\nCreate designs that meet requirements for feasibility, performance, cost, quality, safety, and timing.\n\nEnsure all engineering work complies with company design standards, safety guidelines, environmental regulations, and quality procedures.\n\nCollaborate with Implementation Managers, leadership, and cross-functional teams to support installation timelines and project goals.\n\nCommunicate with customers to gather critical design requirements and clarify site specifications.\n\nMaintain accurate design documentation and project updates within CRM systems.\n\nRevise and refine CAD models based on feedback from internal stakeholders and clients.\n\nIdentify design limitations, assumptions, and solutions during the development process.\n\nSupport the implementation and improvement of CAD engineering tools, workflows, and systems.\n\nStay current on advancements in materials, software technologies, and CAD best practices.\n\nContribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and design standards.\n\nRequirements\n\nAssociate’s degree (2-year) in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field preferred\n\nBachelor’s degree or relevant technical certifications a plus\n\n3+ years of experience using CAD software in a professional environment\n\nStrong ability to visualize and design in three dimensions\n\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail\n\nExperience working within CRM systems (Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar)\n\nStrong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills\n\nAbility to work both independently and as part of a team\n\nComfortable managing complex projects and seeing them through to completion\n\nAbility to sit for extended periods while working with design software\n\nAbility to meet project timelines and deliver high-quality designs with urgency\n\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment\n\nAbility to incorporate feedback quickly and iterate on designs efficiently\n\nCommitment to continuous learning and professional development\n\nCompensation:\n\nUVeye provides salary ranges that comply with the New Jersey State Law on salary transparency in job advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, skills, location, education, and operational needs. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentives or other forms of compensation or benefits.
