Duties of this position would include, but are not limited to:\n\nMaintain areas around landfill and department grounds to eliminate wind-blown trash that accumulates on fences, open land, lawns, and in vegetation.\nMaintain lawn areas around department grounds.\nOperate gas-powered vacuum device, departments UTV, and other gas-powered equipment not limited to leaf blower, lawn mower, snow blower, and weed eater.\nOperate towable magnet around the site using UTV\nAssist with snow removal using snow blowers, shovels, and salt spreaders\nClean landfill scales and walkways.\nAssist landfill crews in minor maintenance projects and clean maintenance shops.\n\nTons of Growth Potential – We Promote from Within!\n\n1st SHIFT AVAILABLE!\n\nPay rate $18.53/hour\n\nSecond chance employer!\n\nCompany-provided PPE\n\nWork Hours:\n\nMonday - Friday 5:00am to 2:00pm; Occasional Saturdays\n\nApplicants for this position should possess the following:\n\nGood attendance is critical in this role\nKnowledge and ability to perform minor servicing of equipment.\nA valid driver's license.\nAbility to work semi-independently and as a team member.\nDemonstrated ability to comply with appropriate safety rules.\nDemonstrated flexibility in work schedule, especially in adverse weather conditions.\nAbility to walk, bend, stoop, lift, carry, push, pull and move objects up to 50 pounds, understanding and utilizing proper body mechanics.\nAbility to budget time and schedule work to effectively complete tasks.\nEqual Opportunity Employer – We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
