Production Manager Location: Liverpool, NEW YORK, 13090 (Relocation assistance available) Position Type Full-time; Monday-Friday Job Description C Speed is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of next generation radar systems, with a team that has a huge breadth of experience designing, prototyping, and manufacturing state-of-the-art Defense and Air Traffic Control (ATC) radar systems and components. C Speed has extensive experience working directly with domestic and foreign military and civilian customers around the world. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the manufacture and assembly of custom electronics, including radar components and radar systems. They will effectively lead production activities from procurement through factory acceptance testing, in a smooth and efficient manner. The Production Manager will work closely with other departments to ensure that production meets the overall needs of the company and its customers. Responsibilities Oversee production of multiple radar system products, guiding the manufacturing process from start to finish Manage production schedules and budgets Set priorities for manufacturing team Address product configuration management Coordinate and optimize personnel, equipment, and other resources Solve manufacturing, engineering and purchasing issues/problems Work with procurement on purchasing and obsolete/unavailable items Work closely with other departments to ensure that production meets the business and project needs of the company and its customers Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity Ensure that all processes and safety protocols are followed Train and supervise production staff Verify that all products meet quality standards and adherence to ISO 9001 requirements Oversee product export and international shipping Identify and direct improvements to facility and equipment as needed Assist in coordination of delivery & deployment of radar assets Manage manufacturing team ERP transition and related process updates Support process improvements for manufacturing, quality, and more Coordinate with and support engineering/development team Participate in engineering design reviews, including design-for-manufacturing aspects Advise on configuration management, as-builts, revision control, and compatibility Support for obsolete LRU/parts design and discussions/decisions Guide Vendor/Subcontractor management regarding manufacturing, delivery timelines, and quality control Direct source inspections and acceptances Perform other duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Organization’s Values.
