Position Type:Technology/Systems AdministratorDate Posted:4/29/2026Location:Technology OfficeSystems Administrator - Network/InfrastructureReports to: Director of TechnologyDeadline for application: May 20, 2026Start date: June/July 2026Work schedule: 240 days, 8 hours/dayPay range: $50,000- $55,000Qualifications:Minimum high school diploma and 10 years experience in network design and installation ORBachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 5 years of network design and installation experienceFive years' experience working with LAN/WAN design, configuration, implementation and supportValid SC driver's license with a good driving recordAbility to work independently and cooperatively in a networked environmentThorough working knowledge of all operating systems and network applicationsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional including the ability to provide support and templatesJob Functions:Support mission critical systems to include: Mitel, QNAP, fiber, switching, Meru and others.Provide support and systems integration for configuring software, creating automated procedures, setting up menus, organizing hard drives, maintaining communication links, and installing upgrades.Monitor safety and security infrastructure.Act as a resource and problem solver for all system supported hardware and software.Create and coordinate the maintenance of school and district databases.Maintain detailed records of problems and solutions with hardware and/or software; provide accountability for services rendered.Work on projects at all district locations as assigned.
