As a key player in the development of new features for our platform, you will leverage experience with modern development techniques and tools to build and enhance our product, while also working with a modern tech stack including Fast API, Vue.js, Python, PostgreSQL, and AWS. A strong understanding of AI capabilities and limitations is essential. Excellent communication skills are required to be successful in this position. Familiarity with Salesforce is preferred but not required.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nFeature Development:\nDesign, develop, and implement new features across the full stack using Vue.js for frontend, Fast API for backend, Python for Lambdas, and PostgreSQL for database management.\nEnsure features are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.\nWrite well-documented, efficient, and reusable code.\nTechnical Leadership:\nLead by example in best coding practices, code reviews, and technical documentation.\nEstablish and enforce best practices for the effective use of AI development tools and ensure all team members understand the implications and limitations of incorporating AI models.\nParticipate in refinement discussions to help drive clarity to work being performed.\nSystem Maintenance:\nMaintain and optimize existing systems to enhance performance, security, and reliability.\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues across both the frontend and backend.\nAWS Management:\nUtilize AWS services to deploy applications, manage infrastructure, and ensure high availability and performance.\nSalesforce Integration:\nIf applicable, integrate, customize, and extend Salesforce platforms to meet specific business needs.\n\nSkills & Qualifications\n\nTechnical Expertise:\nProficiency in Vue.JS and TypeScript for front-end development.\nExperience with AI-powered development environments like Cursor or similar AI coding tools.\nStrong experience with Fast API/ Python for backend logic and server-side applications.\nSolid experience with AWS cloud services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.\nFamiliarity with agile development methodologies and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Git).\nGeneral Skills:\nExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.\nCritical thinking and deep understanding of AI system limitations, security risks, and responsible development practices.\nAbility to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.\nStrong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\nAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.\nPreferred Experience:\nFamiliarity with Salesforce for CRM integration or development.\nExperience in AI/ML development, including familiarity with relevant frameworks and libraries, to support future product initiatives.\nExperience with CI/CD tools and processes.\n\nWhy Billd?\nBilld is committed to diversity and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
