Interns will be onsite at the Birmingham headquarters.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nParticipate on an Agile development team developing web-based applications for company needs\r\nWork on a capstone project on a topic in your discipline to present to IT leadership\r\nWork alongside senior developers and architects on assigned tasks\r\nDocument, design, develop, test, and monitor solutions\r\nSupport deployment pipeline of customer-facing products to production, and triage and solve issues\r\nQualifications\r\nWorking on a BS degree in a computer related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering)\r\nWorking knowledge of web development languages and frameworks (Angular, React, Next.js, Nest.js, preferred)\r\nWorking knowledge of software development languages (Java preferred)\r\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms and technologies (Google Cloud preferred)\r\nFamiliarity with DevSecOps processes and tools (e.g. Git, CI/CD pipelines)\r\nFamiliarity with Linux shell and Windows scripting\r\nHigh Level understanding of full software lifecycle development\r\nExcellent communication skills (both verbal and written)\r\nMust be self-motivated and know when to seek guidance\r\nIndividual must be a self-starter and capable of working independently as well as part of a team\r\nCapable of learning new tools and technologies\r\nStrong critical thinking and problem solving skill\r\nNot the right fit?
